~*TRINiTE 2005*~

After all the busy days, now I'm back with my review on the TRINiTE 2005.

TRINiTE was held on 25 February 2005. One month earlier, I already had a search online to look for the latest prom dress and style. I saved quite a number of dresses and printed it out for my reference. I thought of custom the dress as the dress was no where to be found except order from overseas. During the Chinese New Year holidays, I took the pictures back to my hometown for my mom to see and comment. My mom found the dress nice but the material is hard to find. So, my hope was broken and I sort of disappointed with it. At that time, I really didn't feel like going to the prom night anymore.

After the Chinese New Year, I was busy with my assignments and mid-term papers. I had no time to go KL shop for my dress. On 16 February 2005, I took bus down to Mahkota Parade tried to search for dresses. Disappointedly, there was no dress which is presentable for the prom night. I might say, I'm too choosy. Then, I decided to wear the dress which I bought 3 years ago. That was my first dress for the IT Night, the first prom night I attended. After that, I didn't pay much attention on the prom night until I had a tried on the dress to see whether it need to alter or not. When I looked at the mirror that dress, again, I was hurt by myself. I doesn't look nice and the dress show my big butt. At that moment, I was like "Oh, no!! I look horrible!!" As I knew that I will be having a class trip on 21 February 2005, so I decided to follow the trip go but I back Malacca by my own.

21 February 2005, there was a class trip to Bursa Malaysia. As we were not able to back to campus in time for the afternoon class, we made a call to the lecturer and asked to cancel the class. Since the class was cancelled, we decided to go KLCC and back to Malacca in the evening. When we reached KLCC, I took LRT to Times Square cause I was told by a friend 2 weeks back that there are dresses with the price around RM170 at the Debenhums. To my surprise, there really have some dress which is not to my favour cost around RM120 to RM150. Then I go further inside and found that there is a corner with all the gowns and dresses which are brilliant. When I look at the price, it is RM600 and above. After that, I went in shop by shop in the Times Square to look for dresses. Finally, I entered this shop, Cupid De Com, not much dresses but the promoter was nice. She recommanded me some dresses and I had tried on them. Finally, I bought the dress from this shop which I look sexy on.

The dress is in pink which really give me a headache cause I don't have any pink accessory. Then, I ask a friend drive me to Jaya Jusco to buy the brooches which attrated me. Then, on 23 February 2005, I went down to KL again to look for my heel. I went to Lot 10, Sungei Wang, Low Yat Plaza, Mid Valley and Times Square. Finally, I bought it at Lot 10 which the heel actually can be found in Mahkota Parade.

The night before TRINiTE 2005, my housemate ask me to wear the dress and the heel. So I tried everything on with all the accessories. They were impressed and said that I look nice but lack of necklace and bracelet. Then, I tried to ask from my housemate whether they got some pink accessories which match my dress or not. Finally, I borrowed them from my roomate cause it's too late to find for them.

25 February 2005, in the afternoon, as the time we deal with the bridal shop for hair do and make up, we reached the bridal shop -- In Creative Bridal at 4.30pm. We waited for around 1 hour to reach my turn. After the hairdo, I changed my clothes and waited few minutes for the make up. After everything done, it's already 7pm and went to the TRINiTE 2005 at Equatorial Hotel. After the Prom night, my friend and I went to Green World to celebrate my friend birthday.

As for the review of the TRINiTE 2005, I not really enjoy much. It's not really the moment that I wish to be. There was no invitation for dance and I didn't have the chance to know any guys too. Overall, the prom night doesn't leave me a sweet memory but I will still appreciate the day as it might be the last prom night I went with my special friend.

~*A Bad Beginning or A Good Ending?*~

Yesterday night, I just back from my hometown for Chinese New Year. Should I say that his Chinese New Year memorable or a bad beginning of the year? Well, here is the story for you to figure out the ending of my entire year.

~6 February 2005~
Nothing much happen on this day, I packed everything and got up early waited my brother tto fetch for about 30 minutes to 1 hour. On the journey back, nothing much happen, just my brother car battery light shown warning. We checked the battery and found nothing happen. then we drove home happily.

~7 & 8 February 2005~
Another boring day which I done nothing besides eat and shopping for goods for Chinese New Year.

~9 February 2005~
This day is the Chinese New Year, and we got up early to visit my uncle house nearby. After that, we went to grandpa house for lunch and waited my aunty to arrive. After their arrival, we went to the restaurant which we usually go for dinner. After dinner, I went out with my friends to Xclamation for gathering.

In the gathering, I met a lot of my friends and took some pictures with them. Around 10pm, we went to a friend house for some chit chatting. Looking at the clock and we realised that it's already 12am and we went home. On the journey back to a friend house, my friend's car brokedown due to the car had overheated. Four of us, all girls, seem to be helpless and not knowing what to do. Luckily, there were two policemen passby and help us checked out the car and waited for a friend to carry water for us. This incident cause me went home late and worried my dad. We were glad that there were nothing bad happen to us.

~10 February 2005~
This is the second day for Chinese New Year. I waited for my friend to come over my house. After dinner at home, they reached my house and we talk for some while. Then, we all went to a friend who stay nearby my house for a visit. In her house, we suggested to pay a visit to a teacher. Around 3-4pm, we went to the teacher's house and talked for 2-3 hours.

After dinner, I called my friend out to yam cha. But she already had another gathering with friends, so I replace with my primary classmate. Surprisingly, My friend called me out and didn't go out with her friends. So, I just went to Xclamation to meet my friend.

At Xclamation, I met some of my secondary and primary classmates. We had some drinks together. Around 11.30pm, I went home and watched tv.

~11 February 2005~
Nothing much happen in this day. Around 11am, I went to my friend house to pay a visit cause I was invited by her the day before. We talked for few hours, then I went home to wait for my uncle come to my house. After my uncle went back to Ipoh, we went to grandpa house for dinner. Then, my friend came fetched me to my primary teacher's house. It's quite boring in the teacher house cause I had not much conversation with my teacher and all the while I was just listening only. My friend also sense that I was boring, so we asked to leave and he fetched me back to my home.

~12 February 2005~
Seems like nobody besides my brother cold fetch me back Malacca, so I packed everything and went back Malacca with my brother. We start our journey around 2pm and along the way, the traffic was quite jam. When we reaching KL, my brother suggested to go through KL city and went to Malacca. So we got into the Jalan Duta Tol. When we going to reach the tol, my brother's car seems like in trouble which was moving extremely slow like the car had no battery. Once we stopped at the tol, the car was stopped and cannot be started. The tol people close the terminal immediately and a guy volunteer to help us push the car at the side. Then we called our sister-in-law for help. When he reached the tol, my brother's car can started again, so he suggested us to go to his house at Cheras.

On the way to go to his house, my brother's car again stop moving and not even can be started. Then there was this Indian guy stop his car in front of us and said that he helped us to tow the car to a place which is quite far distance. He towed our car and we saw our sister-in-law stopped his car in front, so we ask to stop the towing. Then, my sister-in-law and the Indian guy had some conversation and they checked the car. They found that the car's filter was spoiled and cannot be used and the battery charger was not in function which lead to the dead of the battery. So, they exchange my sister-in-law's car battery with my brother one and we continued our way to my sister-in-law house.

When we reached his house, we went to Carrefour to buy the battery and he said that battery enough to reach Tampin without on the air-cond and light. So, we stay overnight at his house and went to Tampin the next day.

~13 February 2005~
Early morning after breakfast, my brother and I drove the car to Tampin by following my sister-in-law's car. When we reached Tampin, we got ourselve rest while waiting for my aunty to fetch me to Malacca. After dinner with my aunty and uncle, they fetch me back to my hostel.


Those are the days which is really make me worry bout my education. During the one week holiday, I did nothing for my assignment and I not even start a chapter for my midterm paper.

Today, I suppose to go to KL hunt for my prom night dress. But I didn't go. I just didn't feel like going anywhere all of the sudden.

Friday, 28 January 2005, was my 23rd birthday. Early in the morning, I can't get up to go for the class. So, I skipped the first hour lecture and attended the second hour of lecture. After the lecture, I got a group discussion. After an hour, I had lunch -- Tom Yam Ayam, with my friend at Plaza Siswa. After lunch, we went to B1 for my last lecture of the day.

After the tiring lecture, I went to Creative Look Saloon to get my hair trim. Finally, my messy hair could look better now. After that, I got a nap for 45 minutes.

Around 5pm, I got myself ready for the birthday celebration. I'm a little excited at time. Supposingly, I should be happy and excited for the whole night. A little disappointment happened when me, the birthday girl, need to wait for a friend to get herself ready for about 10 minutes. Even I'm not so happy with it, but I still pretend that I'm okay with it cause I don't want to spoil the atmostphere.

After leaving Bukit Beruang, we were on the way to a studio to get photo of mine. I suspected the studio located at somewhere near Jalan Ong Kim Wee, but we headed to the wrong places which was brought by friend who thought is that place. We went a big round and caught in the traffic jam for 30 minutes. Again, I'm tired with this kind of situation which cause me a little unhappy of it. With anger, I got myself out of the car and thinking to walk to the studio to get photo. But Vince had stopped me from doing so and he volunteer to walk there and take the pictures for me. Then, I went into the car and looked at his action. He walked here and there, asking for the direction and the location of the studio. Finally, he ran towards the shop and got the pictures. Suddenly, there is a feeling of touch grew in my heart. He was being told to drive the wrong way and everything, but he never blame on anyone of us and never complain anything bout it.

After that, we went to our destination -- Coconut House. It located at the row in front of the Jonker Street. So, we parked the car quite far from the shop and walked there. Finally, we reached the shop and we sat at a table for six. Each of us ordered a pasta and a drink and I added two regular pizza with different favour. The foods were quite slow and not really nice. Maybe we don't know how to order. The pizza still okay and the best for that day was the Tomyam flavour pasta and the beef lasagne. The foods are not cheap there and I spent RM100+ which over my budget cause I didn't expected to pay more than RM150. After filling stomach, we walked around the shop and took some photos. I felt like we were quite 'sampat' that time.

After the dinner, we walked to the jonker street where I lost my mood as well. Maybe I'm just too worried to blow the candles after 12am. Well, around 10.30pm, we headed to Secret Recipe at Melaka Raya to eat Cheeze Choc which my friend ordered for me a day earlier. The cake is not bad.

As the night still young, we decided to go to the Pure Bar where the favourite place for MMU students to hang out. Actually, it's my first time to go Pure Bar and the environment inside is just normal. Maybe I had been expecting too much. We ordered 2 buckets and I drank 3-4 bottles of Calrsberg which enough to make me 70% drunk.

Erm.. Actually, the most happy moment was that I received sms from my old friends who I never expect them to wish me. I'm really so touch by them that they still remember my birthday. I really miss them a lot..

Every year, every special occasion, I just got only one wish. Almost four years I had made the same wishes but it never come true. Anyway, thanks for everyone who wishes me. :)
